This is my 15th year teaching high school mathematics! I have taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. I currently teach at Riverside High School, a relatively new school, as it was established in 2015. I previously taught an integrated math program to heterogenous math classes at Souhegan High School, a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools in Amherst, New Hampshire
My goal is to engage students in learning and foster a love of mathematics! Time is so precious, so I do my best to maximize instruction by shortening my notes, thus creating more time for students to investigate new concepts and build mathematical fluency through fun activities! I strive to share my love of math with all students help students build confidence in their abilities =)

I absolutely love being a teacher! A few years ago I had just finished my first year teaching in Loudoun County and, although it was a great year, I decided that I really make some big changes and improvements to the way I was teaching! I completely transformed my lessons by shortening my notes and breaking up the lesson with tons of quick, engaging, and collaborative activities. I noticed positive results immediately. I was amazed to see student behavior issues decline and student performance skyrocket! I would hear students say things like: “I was never been good at math before.” “I really want to major in math!” “What kinds of things do we get to do today?” I love collaborating and sharing with other teachers, so I recently decided to bring these activities to the online community for others to enjoy. In doing so, I very much value your feedback! Please provide reviews of the activities and let me know how these materials are working for your classroom. And stay tuned for more to come =)
