I have 15 years of experience as a history, literature, and writing teacher. I've taught AP and honors level subjects in a variety of different settings, including both traditional classrooms as well as online classrooms. My students are usually English language learners, which makes clarity and ease of understanding a priority in my resources.
I love an open and engaging classroom which fosters intellectual creativity and encourages students to think critically. I love to utilize project and experiential based learning when it is feasible to do so, although I also have a lot of experience teaching in high pressure test-prep environments and therefore understand that sometimes results are of the utmost importance!
