TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a 2013 National Board Certified Teacher and received my certificate where my passion lies, in Early Childhood. I am a kindergarten teacher and love everything about working with the littlest scholars! I am continuously trying to increase my effectiveness as a teacher and am always looking for ways to innovate my classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use kinesthetic motions (referred to as gestures by my little scholars) and songs/chants to teach just about everything! I use hands-on activities because I believe that students learn best by doing.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Teacher of the month in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelors Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University
