TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Spent one semester teaching Spanish I at the middle school level as an intern teacher. Spent one semester teaching Spanish I-IV at the high school level as an intern teacher. Spent one year teaching Spanish II and French I at the high school level as a first-year teacher. Teaching French I and French II this upcoming semester at the high school level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I tend to use a variety of ways to help students learn and demonstrate what they have learned. I use games, song, and crafts, while still using worksheets here and there to give students a well-rounded education experience.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Graduated with honors after completing an honors thesis on bilingual education at Western Michigan University. Obtained multiple scholarships, including Spanish, French and study abroad scholarships.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Obtained a triple major in Spanish, French and Psychology at Western Michigan University. Also completed their education program.
