I spent 3 years teaching preschool and toddlers before going on to work in a Special Education classroom for 5 years. I specialized in Austim and Behavior Disorders as well as resource. I was responsible for designing and implementing behavior plans and as well as speech communication boards. I am now a Stay at Home Mom who is homeschooling my preschool aged child. I truly enjoy finding new ways to teach children, no matter what skill level they may have.
I believe any child is teachable if you put the effort in to find out how they learn best. Every child is different and not all kids respond to the standard way of teaching. I know it takes a little more time and effort to change the way we teach, but if it sparks a fire in a little one's mind... that extra time was worth it. Branch out, learn new ways of teaching, and don't be afraid to try anything because you never know what might work!

Graduated from Lorena High School and attended Texas A&M University as an English and International Studies Major.
I am a very artistic and creative person. I love to cook, paint, and design different things. I try to use as much of those passions in my teaching as possible. Try to make the children you teach see the beauty in life and they will be exicted about learning from you!
