I have been a high school teacher for 20 years. I am currently teaching at Bethlehem High School in Delmar, NY. I was also an adjunct college professor at SCCC for 6 years.
I use a variety of different teaching methods including: inquiry based learning, discovery learning, differentiated instruction, and project based learning. I also use a lot of games to help the material stick with my students while making my class fun.
Teacher of the year 2008
I graduated from Nazareth College with a BA in Spanish and a concentration in Education. My certification is 7 - 12 Spanish. I have an MS in Educational Psychology and Statistics from UAlbany.
I love to travel and incorporate information from my travels into my lessons. I take a group of students to Spain every other year and I love getting the opportunity to watch them experience things that they have only seen in textbooks for the first time.
