I am just about to start as a first year teacher in a second grade classroom. I have worked in different preschool atmospheres as lead and assistant teacher.
I prefer to give my students as many hands on learning activities as possible. I believe we learn best from doing, trying, and failing, rather than discussing foreign experiences.

I love collaborating with other educators. In my time growing up within the education system (both my parents are elementary school teachers) I have learned to learn from others and build upon ideas given to me. I believe creativity is a vital part of education and one that I am fighting to keep within my own classroom due to today's current educational design. I am constantly trying to mix up my lessons and make them as applicable to my student's lives as possible! To me, helping my students to become successful in their lives is the most important thing. Here are some of my ideas to help reach this goal!
