Jewish Holidays in a Box, LLC is the brainchild of marketer/teacher/writer Ellen Zimmerman whose goal is to inspire, encourage, and empower families to build powerful, positive memories, as well as to support teachers with well-organized, engaging materials that help them share Jewish traditions.
I believe in creating interactive moments whenever possible. When students' faces light up and when their hands are raised with questions, we're doing something right! In formal settings, I've taught elementary school students (in Sunday school) and French and English composition to college students. From my earliest days teaching French as a grad student, I enhanced the basic curriculum with poetry, music, crosswords, short stories -- always with a goal of bringing the subject matter to life.
From my early (nerdy!) college days: Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma Iota, Graduated magna cum laude, Foreign Language Honorary From my career in marketing/consulting: IABC Gold Quill (direct mail program for Glaxo); IABC Silver Quill (annual report); MAME Award (promotional video); Compleat Communicator Award (national press campaign); JASPER Award (medical center radio spot); PICA, Best of Category (a CRO presentation kit); many others for corporate identity, publications, brochures, etc.
