I have taught Special Education for the past 6 years. I get the opportunity to work with students ranging from 18-22 years of age who are in the process of transitioning out of the high school setting into the "real world." I love creating lessons that adapt everyday life skills into functional activities that make every student feel successful.
I believe in designing activities that give my students different formats and opportunities to demonstrate a targeted skill.
