I've taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade in my career. My classes have mostly been inclusion, but I have also worked with gifted cluster students. This year we are doing a pilot of gifted and inclusion. With all of the scheduling issues that both of those have, you would think it wouldn't work, but it is working relatively well!
I love hands on learning, using music, brain breaks, and transition phases. I am a strong believer in differentiation/group work to foster communication and social skills in the classroom.

I have such a soft spot for my corgi, Bingley. She is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and is about a year and a half now. She is my world, apart from my classroom kids each year.
