TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching mathematics for over 30 years in High School and College. My subjects are Algebra through Calculus 3 along with Geometry, Trig, and Statistics. I teach in a dual enrollment program and in preparing my students for upper division college, I emphasize quality and hard work. Not to say we don't have a lot of fun in my classes, but I want them to consider these classes as higher education. My school is considered a bridge. My calculus classes, Calculus 1, 2, and 3 have been accepted for credit at MIT, where I had to submit exams, and class materials for approval.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Discovery with Technology,And activity -based learning with a bit of humor. I enjoy trying new techniques and sharing the ones that work. I strive to make math fun for my students and I love using hands on activities.

BS and MA in Mathematics plus over 24 graduate hours in Educational Technology.

I have taught in Rhode Island, Illinois, Florida and Online. I was the VP of Education for a Mathematics Software company for over two years. I am also an inventor with a patent and trademark.
