TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am glad that you found me! I am a fully licensed K-12 music teacher with experience teaching ages 4-adult. Since 2003, I have been the orchestra and guitar director at a local high school, and starting last year I have also been directing a local middle school orchestra programl. During the summer months, I also teach the beginning violin class to elementary students through a summer Fine Arts Academy. I have guest conducting local all-county events, and I have adjudicated solo & ensemble festivals. In addition to being a fine violinist, I am a versatile musician who has also become a fine classical guitarist over the last few years, and I currently perform with the VCU Community Guitar Ensemble in my free time. In addition to my public school teaching assignments, I run a busy violin and viola studio from my home twice a week. My compositions have been trial tested with my own students, and only the winners appear in this store. :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a ton of field-tested materials for mixed level guitar ensemble as well as orchestra. I'm excited about being able to share these fantastic materials with other people!
