Currrently, I am teaching 5th grade at a parochial school in Pennsylvania, and I love being back in the classroom after being a stay-at-home mom for 11 years. Before becoming a mother,I taught 5th grade for 4 years and then 2nd grade for four years in a rural school in Ohio. I also, taught CCD to third graders for 5 years, spent a summer teaching preschool, and have subbed every subject imaginable K-5 through substitute teaching for 3 years! Teaching is never boring!
I tend to be very project based because I believe worksheets tend to be very quickly tossed. However, by combining all that information into a project, and the student is more likely to keep it and look at it once it is completed.

I live in Pennsylvania with my wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and a faithful pooch. When not thinking about teaching, I like to go to zumba, run in my neighborhood, make crafts, or curl up with a good book.
