I currently work in an outpatient pediatric setting and provide speech-language therapy to children in the age range of 2-14 years old. I continue to work on a PRN basis in acute and inpatient rehab at the local hospital. Previously, I have worked in a Skilled Nursing Facility, as a contract SLP in the school system with High School age children, and private practice with a variety of ages.
My therapy style is a mix between traditional and non-traditional. I enjoy finding a student's interests and individualizing my treatment sessions around them. When necessary, I will utilize drill work to reinforce strategies, especially with articulation, however I work to keep the student interested and engaged. My main goal with all students is to teach them to be as independent as they can, think through and solve problems on their own, and to communicate their thoughts/feelings/needs to others.

I live in Greensboro, NC. I enjoy working with computers, especially excel and powerpoint, and have repaired and rebuilt PCs as a hobby. I am very interested in the use of technology and computers as tools for speech therapy, and continue to work to improve my skills and knowledge in this area.
