TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Jonathon has been teaching music in various settings since 2004. He started off teaching piano to adults in Cambodia. Later, Jonathon continued his teaching career by teaching in a private school and had the opportunity to work with students from age 3 through adult. A few of his students were children of royalty and government officials. Currently, Jonathon is teaching middle school music in a private school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Jonathon was formally trained in a classical style. He does not teach Rock, Pop, or Jazz to the children under his tutelage. He believes that everything a child or adult needs/can learn from music can be learned from Classical music. He develops his lesson plans based off of what the student needs at that time and is constantly adjusting and adapting to meet the learning needs of his students.
