TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience teaching inclusion and currently teach students with mild, moderate and severe cognitive impairments, learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe students learn best through hands-on activities that they can relate to real world scenarios. Integrating technology, use of manipulatives, concrete examples and pictures is beneficial to the learning process of diverse learners with moderate to severe disabilities. Building upon students strengths while also slowly introducing them to new concepts helps to build their confidence to learn.
