I am a recently graduated K-6 teacher, with some experience in many grade levels. I am endorsed in reading for grades K-12, as well as ESOL K-12. My main passion are grades K-2, but I have created and taught lessons for many grades in order to complete my degree, giving me experience in many different areas of instruction.
I like a student centered approach to teaching. I like to follow the constructivist theory of teaching, allowing my students to do projects that help them construct their own knowledge. My lessons usually are more hands-on, making them beneficial for teaching ESOL students in a mainstream classroom. My goal is to give my students tools to help them be creative and learn in a fun and interesting way.
I graduated as a member of the Kappa Delta Epsilon Honor Society.
I was home-schooled K-12. I have recently graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6. I am also Reading and ESOL endorsed K-12.
