TEACHING EXPERIENCE

3rd Grade Teacher Elementary Reading Tutor

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands-on teacher. My current class has MANY talkers and kids who tend to wiggle their way out of their seats so I keep my instruction fun and interesting to keep them entertained.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My greatest achievement is getting some of my students to love learning again. The excitement I see in them when they want to learn new things is priceless.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelors of Elementary Education- Iowa State University Reading Endorsement- Iowa State University

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I work in a district with a high ELL (English Language Learners) population. This leads me to creating a very visual, hands on curriculum in which students are constantly engaged.
