TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 5th year teaching. I have taught mostly Biology and Pre-Ap Biology, as well as Anatomy and Physiology. I Spent 4yrs teaching at Moody High School in Corpus Christi Tx, and I am currently Teaching Biology at Manor High school in Austin Tx.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I myself am a very visual learner, so my teaching style reflects that. I like to us powerpoints and do my best to make them as colorful and exciting as I can. I also like to use hands on activities. These could be anything from full on science labs to manipulatives to demonstrate difficult science concepts. I do make lecturing a foundation in my classroom to model what the students can expect in college, but I try to branch away from that every chance I get for some hands on learning.
