TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We have 40+ years in combined teaching experience. This includes 20+ years in Kindergarten, along with Title Reading, Special Education and Intervention, and upper elementary.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As teachers, it is our mission to give your child the experiences he or she needs to succeed by creating an environment where they have the opportunity to EXPERIENCE, EXPLORE, DISCOVER, AND RESPOND. We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, therefore, we incorporate a variety of hands on activities into our lessons.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Josette received the Martha Holden Jennings Master Teacher Award in 2002. This award is given to 6 teachers in the State of Ohio yearly.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Josette graduated from The Ohio State University in 1981. In 2006 she received her Masters in the Art of Teaching from MaryGrove College. Christine graduated from Ashland University in 1997 and received her Master from The Ohio State University in 2005.
