While only 24 years old, I've been teaching in the classroom since 16. I started with pre-K, then was versatile as a substitute in all grades, and now I'm working on tenure first as a 4th and now 5th grade inclusion classroom teacher.
As a special education teacher, my first and foremost opportunity is to make sure all students absorb the necessary material as appropriate to their learning style. I love challenging students to their utmost, asking higher order questions to really make them think practically.
None yet, but I'm working on it!
B.A. in Psychology, M.S. Ed. in Elementary Special Education, certified grades 1-6 in Special/Regular Education.
