TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over ten years teaching experience. I began my career teaching in the Florida public school system. I've been abroad for the last ten years, teaching in language schools in Indonesia, and teaching a variety of levels in Korea- including elementary, middle school, and university. I've spent the last six years teaching at the university level in South Korea. I've taught EFL, academic reading, expository writing, interview and business English, economic development, and organizational behavior.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a student-centered approach to learning that values the unique insights and experiences of a diverse student population. I believe strongly in the potential of technology to reshape education for today's students. My research interests include flipped learning, teacher training, and academic writing for non-native English speakers.
