I have been a classroom teacher for 27 years, and currently teach kindergarten. I also write and present interactive, hands-on workshops for early childhood conferences around the country. Additionally, I support teachers through my website, www.playfulteachingandlearning.weebly.com.
My teaching focus is on meeting Common Core standards through purposeful play (with concrete materials, ideas, or both). I strive to create a dynamic, engaging classroom environment that encourages problem solving, creativity, innovation, imagination, and collaboration.
