Chris Juhl has taught for 25+ years. His teaching experience ranges from teaching 6-8 Language Arts (reading, spelling, and grammar) to teaching high school literature to teaching community college reading and writing. In addition to classroom teaching, Chris has experience in curriculum and assessment writing. He has taught numerous seminars on how to make literature more hands-on and personal and to teach cross-curriculum lessons.
Chris started early on using a hands-on method of teaching. He has always wanted to get the kids involved with the book--make the book personal. JUHL Reading does just that. Students look forward to classes where the JUHL Reading Program is used. It truly is a unique, hands-on experience.
