TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in the field of special education for 6 years, with a master's degree in School Counseling. I currently teach social skills groups for children with ASD, using the Social Thinking curriculum. These groups focus on many areas, including perspective taking, conversation skills, peer engagement and increasing social motivation, as well as teaching important self-help and safety skills. I am also studying to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and use an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching model.
