Junior Explorers is a program for elementary aged students (Grades 1 - 5) designed to teach them about nature and wildlife. Our program uses blended learning, to send kids on exciting missions across our planet to place like the Arctic, Serengeti, and the Amazon to learn about these different ecosystems, their habitats, and the wildlife that live there. Kids solve a mystery in every mission such as reuniting a missing polar bear with her cubs or finding a missing jaguar that has been displaced from its home. Our engaging and immersive missions include printable activities as well as a rich digital experience where students comprehend scientific concepts, engage in exploration and critical thinking, and develop knowledge and empowerment to protect our planet. Think Carmen Sandiego for nature and wildlife for fun science learning! All of our content is 100% rooted in fact-based science and designed to be used in classroom. We provide NGSS and CCSS-based curriculum with each of our missions, allowing teachers and students to meet NGSS and CCSS objectives. Working with researchers and educators, we give kids access to real life stories from the natural world. Our missions are diverse in learning, covering biological topics such as deforestation and invasive species, biomes and ecosystems, and endangered species. At the end of each mission, students will have a chance to make a real difference by donating points they earn during the digital experience to support real conservation work. Our mission is to make science fun for kids! By developing a connection with nature and wildlife in the classroom we hope to inspire kids to become the next generation of environmental stewards. Join us in making Science accessible and exciting for kids!
