Jo Anne has 30 years experience, and Soren has 32 years experience. We are currently in our 3rd year of private tutoring grades 1st through 10th, including home schooled students.

We like a variety of ways to present material to our students based on their needs and subject area. Our lessons are very interactive and involve individualized learning, small group, or whole group teaching. We like to incorporate technology and innovative methods.

We both were Teacher of the Year for our schools. Jo Anne was a top ten finalist for her district. We are both lifetime members of PTA.

Jo Anne has a BS in Education with a minor in Reading. Soren has a BS in Biology, Masters of Educational Administration with a Mid-management Certification. All our degrees are from the state of Texas.

We have been married for 35 years. We also team taught together for over 20 years. This included a multi-age classroom of 4th and 5th graders. We have one son who is a Software Engineer and is engaged to be married in January 2017. We have a pet cat named Emmie. She is a Russian Blue we rescued from an animal shelter. We enoy getting together with family and meeting new people in all our adventures.
