I retired with more than 35 years of experience teaching special education, predominantly at the primary level, in inclusive and resource settings. I have always had an affinity for curriculum development and designing assessments and instructional materials. I continue to substitute teach at the primary school where I taught for over 31 of those years.
I would describe myself as having an eclectic style, utilizing the methods and materials necessary to engage and teach individual students.
Yet to be added
I earned a B.S. in Special Education from Clarion State College in Clarion, PA and an M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Virginia. I have completed subsequent courses in many areas including gifted education, reading, word study, and math.
I live with my husband of 40+ years and our dog. Our 2 children are grown and have given us four beautiful grandchildren! My fabulous logo with coordinating banners was designed by Laine!
