TEACHING EXPERIENCE

20 years of experience in Texas public education

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to challenge my students to think and discover the needed concepts. I believe that if my students can learn to think logically and problem solve in my classroom, then they will be capable of working through issues in their future.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am a member of a National Blue Ribbon Award winning faculty

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am the mother of three children. My oldest is and has always been an honor student. My middle child is very smart and is dyslexic. My youngest child is a cancer survivor and has learning difficulties. I believe being the mother of diverse learners has made me a better teacher in the classroom.
