An activity I use at center time to make the students more familiar with the hundreds chart. It teaches them the relationship between the rows and columns. Once the students are familiar, it is very effective as an independent center.

My ESL Kindy students really struggle with the difference between is, can, and has as helpers. I use this activity as an independent center for them to 1) sort the words into the correct category, and 2) choose one of each to make a silly sentence.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the past 2 years I have been teaching English in South Korea. I currently teach at an immersion kindergarten where creating fun and useful resources uses up most of my spare time. I have worked with children of all ages and in various settings for many years. Everything in my store has been made for use in my own classroom, which is why the content and quality varies. I have uploaded them on this site in case anyone else finds them useful as well.
