TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach High School Spanish 1, 2, and level 4 Honors. I have taught Spanish 3 in the past and I do personal tutoring on the side. I work with all levels of students and learners. I currently tutor from age 7 to 23. It is a lot of fun.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a visual teacher. I love being creative and doing something different from day to day. I feel this keeps my students curious and I am able to reach many different types of learners. I use a wide variety of classroom activities ranging from group activities, games, songs, TPR, listening activities, projects, white board activities, and much more. I am excited to be a part of TPT so I can continue to grow and help my students as well as add to the fun of another classroom somewhere else!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I grew up in the Midwest and started traveling when I was in high school. I knew at a young age I wanted to be bilingual. I started my journey of learning a second language in Highschool and continued through college majoring in Spanish. I now live in South Florida and teach and use Spanish everyday. I have traveled to Mexico multiple times, Costa Rica, Spain, and Guatemala. I can not wait to travel to my next Spanish speaking country. I enjoy motivating students to learn a second language, help those improve their Spanish who speak at home, and try to impact those students who do not have a desire to learn a second language. I also enjoy teaching my native language of English online with RosettaStone and tutoring students on the side. I love language, travel, and culture!
