TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently working in the Buckeye Elementary School District in Buckeye, AZ as a 7/8 US History teacher. Previously taught 9th grade Global Studies, 11th US History and Criminal Justice in New York State.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Contemporary approach to teaching which embraces multiple modes of literacy and is driven by the finding of a personal point of view. I try to convey 2 sides to every story and teach history through diverse perspectives; allowing students to create relevance and find meaning in the subject.
