A NJ certified K-8 teacher with specializations in math and science. I started my professional career as a biochemist, working in a lab for years. But after having children, I discovered the joy of teaching. I have worked in both formal and informal educational settings. Presently, I teach science and engineering at a private school while also running my own business, providing afterschool and weekend maker programs.
My teaching style is very experiential. I prefer open-ended questions and hands-on activities. I specialize in Maker Camp and Maker Club programs and afterschool activities.
