I was a 6th grade teacher at a rural elementary for four years. My largest group of 6th graders was 22 students and my smallest class was 12. I LOVED having this small of classes. I was able to get to know each student extremely well and what exactly each student needed to be successful.
I like for students to be up and moving around, I can't hold still for very long so I didn't expect my students to do the same. I like to do activities where the students can interact with one another and get up out of their seats.

I graduated high school with 42 college credits and then attended a junior college for one year to complete my Associates Degree. I then transferred to Utah State University and obtained my Bachelors Degree. I then got a job as a 6th grade teacher when I was 21.
I recently just resigned from my current teaching job to raise my two year old twin boys. I still love teaching and can't wait to get back to it! I know my time with my boys is precious, so it is important that I be home with them right now.
