I am retired after 35 years working with young children. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. Most of my experience has been in kindergarten.
My teaching style is eclectic. I believe that young children learn best when they take an active role in their learning. I strongly believe in developmentally appropriate activities for young children.
I was awarded a grant from the Interface Environmental Education Foundation in 2010 for my project Where the Wild Things Are.
