I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for 3 years in the elementary school setting. When I completed my school practicum in grad school, I knew that being an SLP in the school setting was EXACTLY what I was supposed to be doing with my life. I am now working for the same school district where I completed that practicum, and I couldn't be happier!
Many school days I leave thinking about how much fun I had with my students. Don't get me wrong, I definetly have my share of challenging days (that's forsure), but I love teaching my kids so much that it doesn't even feel like a job to me at times. I try to make therapy fun and engaging for my kids so they leave therapy with that same feeling.

I attended Fontbonne University (Go Griffins!) in St. Louis, MO for both undergrad and grad school. I graduated with my masters degree in Communication Science Disorders in 2016.
I am from St. Louis, MO, and I've lived here for my entire life. I married my husband, Kurt, 3 years ago from July. We have two fur babies named Buddy and Walter. In case you were wondering, yes, we did name our dogs after the movie, Elf haha! We just bought a cute, little house that is Chip and Joanna Gaines inspired. We've been super busy with making this house our home. Kurt and I are just about finished decorating so now I have some free time (which is why I am starting to make and sell SLP materials on TPT)!
