TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my fifth year of teaching full time but seven years in education. I have taught elementary and high school with a focus in American and British Literature.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to provide my students with diverse learning opportunities with varying activities to capture their interest and attention. Through small group, individual, and whole group learning, my students collaborate in several ways in order to enrich their academic experience.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

As an educator, I have been awarded Teacher of the Month and academic awards through my post secondary studies. I hope in the coming years I will be able to add to my accolades.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated in the top ten percent of my high school class. I currently hold several certifications including SPED, ESOL, Middle Grades, Elementary, High School English, and Gifted. Currently, I have a Master's Degree with plans to continue my education in Leadership.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am happily married to my husband, Vince. I have two beautiful children ages 16 and 14. My hobbies included beekeeping, gardening, baking, quilting, and being outside in general.
