I have taught first grade! I received my Masters in Education from Xavier University, along with my Reading Endorsement. I am licensed in Ohio and Kentucky.

My teaching style is student-centered, hands-on, and inquiry-based. I also seek to integrate the arts into the curriculum, and integrate literacy across all content areas.

I was that student who loved school! I have many memorable teachers, and one that sticks out is my third grade teacher, as well as my English teacher in high school. Both really inspired me and motivated me to become a teacher.

After working in the healthcare field for a few years, I changed careers and went into teaching. My husband and I met in Cincinnati, and currently reside about 15 miles outside of the city. We recently had a baby boy in January, who has brought us immense joy. We both love exploring nature, and enjoy running marathons together.
