I have been teaching for 12 years in public education. I have worked as a Math intervention teacher for intermediate grades, a Kindergarten classroom teacher, a 5th grade classroom teacher. As a child I always wanted to be a teacher. A special gift that my parents gave me when I started teaching was a framed piece of work that I had done in Kindergarten, on which my teacher wrote "When I grow up I want to be..." and after that was written "teacher" with a picture I had drawn of me as the teacher. Even in Kindergarten I knew what I was meant to do! :)
I just love when my kids and I are having fun together while learning. We sing, dance, and laugh every day.
My best honor yet? Being a mom to my 2 little munchkins! :)
I have my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as a Master's Degree in Childhood Education.
