TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in both regular education and also gifted and talented education. I have worked at a gifted and talented all inclusive school and also at a magnet school and a junior high school. I am now employed by the state to work in an educational cooperative as a science and gifted and talented specialist.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands-on, minds-on teacher. Giving students a hands-on experience and then challenging them to think about what they have done and use higher order thinking skills. Students involved in this type of learning environment tends to retain what they learn.
