Below is what I achieved: * 100 percent success with all of the 10th grade students passing the NYS Regents exam * As a member of the Middle School Faculty Advisory Committee, I assisted in the achievement of our school’s removal from the Needs Improvement List (No Child Left Behind) * Achieved tenure * Cooperatively worked with the SPED co-teacher * Served as a Sponsor Teacher for student teachers from SUNY Potsdam * Coached the boys modified soccer team teaching basic skill work * Coached the girls JV soccer team teaching basic skill work and basic strategy

I love using the Multiple Intelligence Theory and leveling to differentiate instruction. They allow me to reach every student on their own ability level and increase interest in social studies. I use cooperative learning and the common core standards as much as possible.

I presented at a Hall County GA professional development day on the topic of differentiated instruction activities and leveling in the middle school social studies classroom.
