I currently teach in North Carolina. I love teaching the primary grades and finding ways to integrate various content areas into thematic learning units. It is amazing to see the growth, change, and development of these students!
I work to ensure my teaching is balanced, differentiated, and engaging for all students.

Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work with some truly gifted educators. As a new teacher, many of these amazing men and woman took time to share advice, activities, lessons, “tricks of the trade," and, simply, their time with me. I don’t know where I would be today without them. This blog is simply an effort to share with others what was shared with me. They say teaching is not about reinventing the wheel, but most of the time it does involve changing a tire or two... or three!
