TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences with a focus in Developmental Psychology. Clinical director and speech-language pathologist at private practice in pediatric speech-language pathology, Shadow Me Speech Therapy (www.shadowmespeechtherapy.com).

MY TEACHING STYLE

Organized, straight-forward, no "surprises" (no pop quizzes!), clear expectations. I believe in giving students the information they need to succeed. I provide many supports in the classroom and in therapy (visual, auditory, manipulatives), as I recognize that students learn in different ways and that multi-modal presentation of information produces the best learning outcomes.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Ph.D. Research Small Grants Recipient (2012). Redeker Fellowship in Child Studies (2011). APF/COGDOP Scholarship Nominee (2010).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
