I have a zoology degree from the University of California, Berkeley. I have taught biology at community college and have spend 6 years teaching 7th and 8th grade algebra and life science. I currently teach Physics, Intro to Physics and Chemistry, and Biology at an alternative high school.
I like to have my students discover information for themselves. This is a critical skill for science education. hands-on investigations are important to elicit interest and critical thinking in students.
