Kathryn Robinson was born in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up she dreamed of being a teacher. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the College of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey and then spent the next 10 years in the classroom. She then went back to college and received her Master's Degree in Special Education. Kathryn spent 30+ years teaching elementary students. During those years Kathryn and her family moved throughout the world. She was fortunate enough to teach students of all grade levels throughout the United States, Germany, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. She was given the opportunity to teach in multi-age classrooms, students with special needs, gifted students, and English language learners. While living overseas it was difficult to obtain the teaching resources needed to work with students of all levels. Therefore, Kathryn began to create her own innovative and extremely effective programs, worksheets, and hands-on activities. Kathryn's objective was to create innovative programs that were easy to implement and challenged all the students in the classroom regardless of ability. Her programs were so unique and effective that other teachers began asking to use Kathryn's materials. Flash forward 20 years and now Kathryn's materials are being used throughout the United States and internationally. She has conducted hundreds of district workshops as well as presented numerous times at both International Reading Association and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics conferences. I hope you enjoy using my products as much as I enjoy creating them!
I believe in using brain-based, hands-on strategies to engage my students. I try to integrate my curriculum whenever possible and many of my sheets are designed for differentiated learning.
