I have taught in General Education, Special Education, and ESL classrooms. I became a teacher later in life after working as a Special Events Coordinator for a major children's health charity and being a teacher's aide for several years.
In my classroom I make a concerted effort to get to know my students. The relationships I create with my students make me a better teacher. While I am tough and have high expectations, I also always leave my door open for "my kids" - whether they need help academically or personally.

I am a proud military wife and daughter who is kept busy with two active girls. I have become a fan of volleyball (thanks to my girls!) and enjoy reading and writing in my precious moments of free time.
