TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 8th grade Language Arts and Reading in urban districts for 4 years, and now I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students elementary-middle school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Over 90% of my students were English language learners, so a lot of my resources are great for students for whom English is not their native language. Because of this language barrier, I try to make sure my assignments/worksheets are uncomplicated, interesting, and fun! Many of my speech materials were created for students with ASD, so they can be adjusted for higher or lower functioning clients.
