TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a second career teacher whom has finally found my passion. I've created many of my own materials to help my students excel in the classroom as I teach in a top rated school near Cincinnati Ohio.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I don't have one style. I use some TPR, guided notes, cooperative learning activities. I also teach to all of the domains of foreign language: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

In my previous career as a Journalist I received many writing awards and also received a study abroad scholarship to study Spanish.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from Central Michigan University. I've studied Spanish at the University of Concepcion in Chile and received my teaching license and Master's of Education through the University of Dayton . I am also completing a PK-12 Reading Endorsement and have lessons for that as well.
