TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Six years of High School Physical Science (Physics/Chemistry) Six years of High School Biology One year of Sixth-Eight grade General Science Two years of Adult ESL One year of Adult Biology Education

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that we are all teachers therefore I do as much as I can to empower my students to teach each other as well as myself. This can be a difficult transition for "old fashioned" teachers, but once you can adapt your mind-frame, it creates a very dynamic classroom in which everyone is learning all the time. I use a lot of inquiry lessons as well as several creative, non-traditional (some even "off the wall") lessons. Those that are most creative have ** in their title!
