I have experience volunteering in classrooms, regular and special education. I just graduated from Middle Georgia State College with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education General Education. I have done my clinical practice and student teaching in grades k,1,2,3,and 5.
I feel that teachers need to try and meet all students needs. Differentiation is very important in the classroom. I love to give real life examples, hands on activities, and I like to supplement the standards with interesting information. I try and give my students the skills they need to handle life and better themselves.
I have had a lot of different honors and awards given to me but one of the greatest rewards was one of my students said, "The best part of the field trip was being with Mrs. Mincey."
I have gone to many elementary schools in different parts of the country. I went to middle school and high school in Georgia. I have a B.S. Early Childhood Special Education General Education and a minor in Information Technology.
I have a four year old son. I am married with two dogs and a cat. I like in Jones County.
